San Sebastian Water Resistant Boot (Women)

Beautiful boots. However, the description says removable insole and arch support, this boot has neither. I wear a size 6 and my feet are slightly wide. I ordered the 36 and they fit perfect in width but were a little long. Very little cushion in my opinion and the heel portion is hard. There might be room to add a thin insole with arch support. I will return and try another style.

I am a big a fan of Pikolinos and have purchased several pair. This style is extremely comfortable right out of the box, which a good quality pair of shoes should be. However, I’m not sure why it’s advertised as water resistant. On the Pikolinos website, this style is not listed as water resistant. You can buy a water proofer which I use on all of my Pikolinos, but you have to treat the leather in order to get that benefit. Excellent quality and very nice looking boot! When I first put them on, I thought they were too small and almost returned them. I loved them and decided to try them on one more time, and they fit perfectly! I have worn them for long periods of time with lots of walking and they have been amazingly comfortable! I really recommend this brand and plan to purchase another style of their boots in the near future! I don’t normally write reviews, but in general I’ve seen quality decline as prices rise. With this boot, however, I felt like I was getting great quality for a reasonable price!!!

I only wish I could have gotten these in black and I’d probably get a size 37. For winter boots, I tend to buy one size up so that I can wear them with thick socks and have room. In this case, I feel like the 38’s were a little too big. BUT I still love them!!! The rubber like soles do very well on wet, snowy and even icy streets/sidewalks. No breaking them in necessary. I was concerned that they would be too high for commuting, but they were perfect and I have not once gotten tired in them. I’ve even gotten compliments from strangers on the Chicago ‘L’ Train. I really can’t think of any cons. A splurge that is clearly worth it! My first pair of Pikolinos will not be my last!

Wore straight out of the box to a weekend out of town that involved 5-10 miles of city walking per day for three days in a row. Completely comfortable the entire weekend. Easy to style with cropped jeans/pants. Perfect heel height and great traction in the rain. Love! Will likely buy another pair in a different color.
