I love Mephistos and this style!
I have been wearing the MEPHISTO brand for over 30 years. I love them for style and comfort, particularly when traveling and touring. I purchased these in both black and white. I am usually a size 8 and I found that I needed to bump up to an 8 1/2 for length. They are so comfortable and well-made. This style is chic and great with all outfits from casual to a fun dress. The durability, comfort and safety are all number one for me in general, but particularly when traveling to Europe with uneven ancient streets, etc. You won’t want to take them off! The zipper feature is so innovative.

Quality not good
These are the cutest sneakers ever and I love love the zipper, but the quality stinks. I expected much better from this brand. They squeak when you walk. The leather is super hard and causes blistering. I've worn them for two days and the leather is already showing creases. Not comfortable. Wish I could return them and bought the other brand I was thinking about.

Squeaker Not Sneaker
Comfortable shoes and the zipper is a great feature but after trying baby powder and wearing for 5 months, the squeak hasn’t gone away. Sounds like I’m walking in water soaked shoes. Very annoying. I regret buying them.

Very nice shoes
I needed new sneakers and bought three different pairs. This is the one I kept. It was the most comfortable and I think it will last a long time because the materials are so nice. Only downside is that it sometimes squeaks when I walk.
