As an Earth-first apparel brand, tentree plants—you guessed it—10 trees for every item purchased, and uses the most sustainable materials and practices to create its pieces. Director of Brand Sola Desgagne gave us the scoop on the certified B Corp's processes, its wins and how the Veritree QR codes let customers track their impact.
Creator of the original sport sandal, Teva was born in 1984 when a resourceful river guide strapped two Velcro watchbands to a pair of old flip-flops to keep them from floating downstream. Today, the iconic brand is using recycled materials, reducing packaging and water usage, and pioneering the TevaForever recycling program to keep Teva sandals out of landfills and repurpose them into something new.
As our planet warms at an accelerated rate, we face a ripple effect of impacts—from large-scale shifts in weather patterns to rising sea levels, ocean acidification, animal extinction, food scarcity and more. We're focused on reducing our own impact while supporting greater systemic changes to reduce global greenhouse gas emissions.
