THE TRENDS OUR FASHION EXPERTS ARE WEARING BACK TO THE OFFICE
It seems like it's been years since many of us set foot in an office, but the time has finally come for us to dust off our commuting shoes and return to the water cooler. Meanwhile, the age-old dilemma of a "closet full of clothes and nothing to wear" feels even more prevalent now, as we've swapped our belted waistlines for stretchy elastics. Fortunately, our in-house team of fashion experts is here to share the trends and must-have items they'll be shopping for fall—so get ready to build your Wish List.

This fall sees a return of statement boots in a range of silhouettes and heel heights that cater to a variety of lifestyles and occasions. From a chic, classic investment boot in a beautiful, supple leather, to a more fashion-statement, over-the-knee or thigh-high silhouette in a sleek patent leather, these are the pieces that are meant to get you noticed.
The platform is a silhouette I haven't had in my closet for years, and I'm ready to wear it once again. From dress shoes to boots, platforms look freshest this season in fun colors and novelty prints. With silhouettes shifting in apparel toward shorter skirt lengths and wide-leg trousers, it's time to try out the platform—a must-have for your fall shoe lineup.
This season I'm in the market for a new everyday wear-to-work bag, and top of my list is the new take on shoulder bags. From softly structured to strongly tailored, these bags are an essential for me to go from the office to happy hour with coworkers. The shoulder bag sees a resurgence with new croissant shapes or streamlined hobos for everyday use. Depending on how often I go into the office, I'll probably need one of each!
One wardrobe exercise I'm doing as I've been heading back into the office is trading out my delicate jewelry for fabulous, oversized statement pieces. The more the merrier too, as I'll be layering bold chains, tennis necks and personal charms for every day, or replacing my trusty hoops with statement earrings that are colorful, long and linear.

As I head back into the office, I'm not yet ready to sacrifice comfort, so I'll be opting for relaxed, pleated trousers this fall. Paired with a structured blazer and a pointed-toe pump, it's a chic and easy option for presentations, meetings or whatever else I have scheduled.
Leather Trench Coats
Bold leather looks were all over the runways for fall 2022, and I'm looking to incorporate this trend into my wardrobe through a leather trench coat. I'm thinking of pairing it with a chunky knit or a silk top so it can act as the hero piece for the outfit. I love mixing different textures in the same color to achieve a monochromatic look.
We've been tracking the rise of mary jane heels and flats on the runways, and I definitely want to try the trend out for myself. I love a flat, and I think this is a comfortable and timeless style that I will wear again and again.
Soft Shoulder Bags
I'm in dire need of a new carryall bag for my commute, and I've been loving the slouchy leather shoulder bags that we've seen from all the designers and top handbag brands. They're comfortable and easily fit my laptop and other work essentials. Also, I love the juxtaposition of the supple leather bag back to the tailored pieces I have in my wardrobe.

I've been craving a more elevated, fitted silhouette in my tailored pieces. Nothing gives you that feeling of a good confidence boost for an office presentation more than a sharply cropped blazer or fitted flared trouser—especially with a new architectural heel.
I am so excited to break in my new jeans after so many seasons of putting denim aside. I'm currently obsessed with the slouchy '90s full-length leg, perfect with a bodysuit and blazer for work.
Every fall I look for a new boot to easily refresh the items I wear on repeat. This year, I want a strong boot, whether it's a bold color or second-skin leather to wear with skirts and dresses.
