BP. is a private label Nordstrom brand that specializes in creating clothing and accessories that are responsibly made, affordable, size inclusive (XXXS-4X) and gender inclusive. BP. is a playground for self-expression through personal style. What we wear is an expression of who we choose to be, on this day, in this world. Be bold. Be proud. Be new. Be you. BP.

What Does BP. Stand For?
When the BP. brand launched in 1984, it was called “Brass Plum," and it specialized in women's junior apparel. In the early 2000's, the brand underwent rebranding, which included shortening its name to BP. Over the years, we've expanded our offerings to include men's clothing, gender neutral fashion apparel, accessories, handbags, shoes and even home décor.

How is BP. Made?
Most BP. clothing, accessories, and home goods are designed in Seattle, Washington by our talented team at the Nordstrom Headquarters. Once finessed and approved, our products are produced overseas—45% of which are brought to life in factories that directly support women's empowerment. We've committed to increasing that number to 90% by the year 2025.

BP. is also focused on reducing our carbon footprint. For example, our sustainable denim line uses materials that are recycled, organic or comprised of sustainable fibers. The line also uses 70% less energy compared to current industry practices and is made with 90% less water usage. Looking ahead to 2022, we're launching a fashion-forward collection of recycled jewelry and sunglasses.

We believe that what you wear is an expression of who you choose to be, and our inclusive assortment of affordable clothing and accessories helps you do exactly that. BP. clothing categories include Nordstrom BP. dresses, BP. sweaters and a broad selection of tops, pants, denim and skirts. You'll find an array of BP. sunglasses and BP. shoes, including BP booties, BP boots and BP slippers.

In addition, BP. is dedicated to being one of the leading gender neutral clothing brands. In 2019, we debuted a non binary clothing collection called Be Proud by BP. Not only does this line make gender neutral clothing more accessible for all, but 10% is given is to nonprofit organizations that directly support LGBTQIA communities. In 2021, we also teamed up with Wildfang to create a year-long assortment of clothing that aims to challenge gender norms. The Wildfang clothing line includes jumpsuits, suits, coveralls and more.
