The Curator Pleated Bermuda Shorts

I love these shorts… I tend to avoid shorts as a 5’4” long torso’ed / short legged person, but I gave these a try and am glad I did. The fabric looks expensive, and tailored lying loose, but close enough down the sides as to not add bulk. As an athletic build, the waist fits just right… not loose and not tight. The height of the waist helps create an elongated illusion for my legs (torso looks shorter, which is good for my build). These can be dressed up or down. Dressing up… I plan to wear wedges to add length to my legs. Dressing down, I wore ballet flats and a racer back tank when vacationing in the EU last week. The fabric held up under packing - no wrinkles to steam or iron. I LOVE them and highly recommend giving them a try.

I wear an 8 in shorts. Sometimes but rarely a 10. I needed a 12 in these. The inseam is too short. Otherwise, they would have been perfect. Tried two pair of tan in two sizes and two in black. All going back.

These long shorts are perfect for really hot days, as they are a very light (but lined) material. They are like linen but they don’t easily wrinkle so I’m planning to take them when I travel. They can be dressed up for work or an evening out, or styled super casual for every day. I’m generally a size 4 and I got these in both a 4 and a 6 (based on availability) The button is a bit snug (but comfortable once it’s on) and they are quite loose everywhere else. I’m planning on styling several different looks with these neutrals and I because they are high quality I think they will be in my closet for several years.

I been looking for shorts like this and these were just ok. I’m a size 25 and the size 2 was too small. It fit but didn’t look relaxed like on the model. Also, the belt loops are too big. If you look closely on the model, they extend past the waistband and look strange.
