Yale Chelsea Boot (Women)

I was worried they were going to look too awkwardly long on my larger feet but they are sleek, and beautiful. I love how they look. I am sometimes an 8.5, sometimes 9 and I preferred the length of the 8.5 better. Less slipping around. I have average width feet and they were comfortable day 1 after walking 2,000 steps in them. They are a little pricier than I’m used to but the quality is definitely there. They do look expensive. I have a feeling they will hold up pretty well.. will definitely avoid wearing these in the rain and snow to prolong their shelf life.

I bought the cloud suede color, which arrived today. Immediately after putting them on, I fell in love. I sized up 1/2 a size (per usual in boots) and they fit perfectly. The pointed toe elongates my legs without making my feet look too big/long. These feel like a million bucks & look that way, too. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. If you’re considering these, they’re 100% worth the price!

The opening to the boot is big. It can look very wide and clunky at times, but otherwise, this boot is a beautiful dupe to the Acne Jensen boot. I still recommend it as it's comfortable and just looks really good on! For those wanting to go half a size up, I wanted to size up so that I could wear thick socks, but then realized that as time passes the boot will stretch. Bought my normal size and so happy that I did because It would've been way too pointy and long if I got any size bigger.

I feel it is my civic duty to tell you this. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. They are like slippers you are allowed to wear in public. Very fashionable, socially-acceptable slippers. I bought these shoes on a whim. I've always believed I couldn't wear booties like this because of my short stature (I'm 5'2"). I was very skeptical when I was encouraged to try these on, but somehow they worked! I had no idea how they'd fare after a long day on my feet, but I'm wearing them for the first time today, and honestly my feet have never been so happy. You must buy them. Don't hesitate. Fit TTS. Another plus - these boots look way more expensive than they are. I've already been asked if they're Acne. I just smiled.

I bought the Marc Fisher 'Yale' boot and the Acne Studios 'Jensen' boots. I really wanted to keep the Acne boots because they're better quality and the look is slightly more refined, but my size 11 foot didn't fit Acne's 41 and they don't make a 42. The Marc Fisher size 41 fit perfectly, and although it's not as nice at the other pair, I'm going to keep it because they're very similar and big feet don't get a lot of choice.
